Henry Peach Robinson (b. Ludlow July 9,1830 – d. February 21, 1901) was a British pioneer Pictorialist photographer who made combination prints that joined multiple negatives to form one image (photomontage).

At the age of thirty-4, Robinsin was forced to give higher his medium because of a problem brought on by exposure to toxic chemical substance utilized in the photographic run. Even so, Robinswithin continued his involvement, writing a influential essay “Pictorial Outcome around Photography, Existence Hints on Composition & Chiaroscuro for Photographers, published in 1868. Within 1891, he helped found a photographic society, a Linked Ring.
